Resolved—That for the purpose of securing Uie payment of the principal and of providing the Interest and Sinking Fund on a Special Loan of £922 13s 7d, raised by thia Council, by Special Order passed on the 15th of July, 1901, the Council do make and levy a Special Rate of Is in the pound sterling upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the Borough of Arrowtown. Such Special Rate shall be an annually recurring rate, payable by equal half-yearly payments on the Ist day of October and the l. t day of April during the cnrrenoy of the said Loan, and shall be levied year by year until the said Loan of £922' 13s 7d is paid off. And this Council doth permanently appropriate and pledge tne said Special Rate as security for aach loan and interest. HENRY B.: SMITH, Town. Clerk. OTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following resolution was duly passed at a special meeting, duly convened of the Borough Council of the Borough of Arrowtown, held at Arrowtown on the 19th day of August, 1901 :—“ Resolved—That for the purpose of securing the payment of the principal and of providing the Interest and Sinking Fund on a Special Loan of £922 13s Td raised by, this Council by Special Order passed on the 15th day of July, 1901, the Council do make and levy a Special Rate of One Shilling in. the Pound sterling upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the Borough of Arrowtown. October and the first day of- April during the currency of the said Loan, and shall, be levied year by year until the said Loan of £922 I3s 7d is paid off; and this Council doth permanently appropriate and pledge tire said Special Rate as security for such loan and interest. AND NOTICE is hereby farther given that further special meeting of the said Council will be held on the 25.h day of September, 1901, at Arrowtown, at which a Resolution will be submitted to the said.
