SYDNEY, August 8. At the presentation of the polo carnival prizes at Quirindi to-night 150 residents were gathered on the Imperial Hotel balcony, which collapsed and fell on the crowd below. A terrible panic ensued, and many were seriously injured. Twenty persons, including seven ladies, were badly injured. There were several broken legs, and many others received slight injuries. i
