The Capetown correspondent of -M •!- bourne Age writes; —A member of the Transvaal Seer' t Serviie has just arrived from Pretoria, and gives some interestin'; information of the condition of things p» evading there and in Johannesburg. He left Pretoria on 14th January. He states that there are 22 hospitals for the wounded in Johannesburg and 17 in Pretoria, The market at Pretoria is fairly well supplied with vegetables. The goods in the stores are being largely commandeered, and the officials are now taking money. They walk into a store, and it they find £4O or £SO take away £3O.
