DAL6ETY AND 03.. LIMITED, Daloety and Co. Limited report as follows • Rabbitskins.—The skins now arriving are small in number and of very inferio * quality. The local buyers are, however, very keen competitors for all descriptions, and prices, quality considered, are fully maintained. Wo quote :—Best winter does, IftjJd to IGd ; do. mixed, 15d to late springs, to 9Ad ; small, 2d to 3Jd ; best blacks, 17d to ISAJ. Sheepskins.—We offered a fairly large catalogue on Tuesday when there was a full attendance of fellmongers and buyers for shipment. Bidding for all descriptions was particularly keen, and the whole of our catalogue was cleared at full prices.. We quote :—Best full-woolled x breds, 5d ; me dium, 4d to 4id ; full-woolled meriuor, 4d to 4Jd ; medium, 3d to 3Jd. Hides.—We have an unlimited demand at quotations. Best heavy ox hides, 3£d to 3|d ; good, 2fi to 3d ; medium, 2|d to 2£d ; light and interior, IJd to 2d. Wool.—The first sale of the season will be held on Tuesday, 21st inst, at the Agricultural Hall buildings. A full muster of buyers is expected to be present, but we regret to say that in view of the result of the sales held in other parts of the colony we are afraid reductions on ruling rates of last year will have to be accepted. So far as the sales in other centres have gone values as compared with last season are one farthing to a halfpenny lower for good x-breds and |d to Id for medium to inferior x-breda. The exceptions will be flue and merinos, which are the descriptions most enquired for, and which are particularly in request for the local mills, etc..
