Messrs Moritzson and Hotkin, auctioneers, wool, stock aud station, grain, produce, and commission agents, corner Bond and Jetty streets, Dunedin, repor (wholesale) as follows for the week. All quotations subject to market fluctuations : Wheat; Prime velvet, 4s 6d to 4s Sd ; Tuscan, 4s 5d to 4s 7d ; red chaff, 4s 3d to 4s Gd. We have a good demand. Oats : There is a little more activity, and prices have advanced Id per bushel. We quote—Prime milling, Is 11 id ; bright plump feed, la9d to Is KM ; medium aud oil' color. Is 7Ad to Is Sid.

Barley' : Feed at from 2s to2s6d ; milling, 3s to 3s 3d ; malting, 4s to 4s Sd, at which prices we have sold, medium to good, Ss Gd to 3s 9d. Wo have a good inquiry and shall be pleased to receive samples. Hops, with some enquiry, lid to Is. Flour, Ll2; oatmeal, Lll 10s. Pearl barley, LIG ; bran, L 3 ; pollard, L 3 15s.

Potatoes : Derwents, ’£2 to £2 5s ; kidneys, £ll to £l2 per ton. Chuff : Prime quality, L 3 7s 6d to L 3 10s for extra ; medium, L2 17s Gd to L 3 ss, Pressed hay, £3 ; pressed straw, 27s 6d to 30s.

Ryegrass : Best machine-dressed 3s to 4s; undressed, *2s to 2s 9d. In better demand. Cocksfoot: Town machined, £ld ; farmers riddled, 2id to 3^l. Rye corn ; 3s 3d. Linseed, in good demand, LIO to LlO 10s.

We receive rabbitskins, hides, sheepskins, and tallow, and return highest market values. Hides wanted each, 2d to per lb. We hold regular weekly sales. Sheepskins ; Butchers green crossbreds, 3 9d t 4s 9d ; extra, 5s Odto 6s Od; dry cross breds, 2s 5d to 5s fid ; merino (dry), 2s 3d to 3s Cd ; medium Is fid to 2s. All skins are thoroughly attended to, and if we are dried. Horsehair, Is to Is 3d per lb. Beeswax, Is to Is 3d. Rabbitskins: We quote : Summers, 5d to fid ; autumns, 7d to 9Sd ; winters 12d to 15d ; selected laid ; blacks, 14d to ISd Have an unlimited demand for all classes and return highest values. Sale every Monday. We have an experienced man classing all skins, and thus receive top value from buyers.

Wool.—The first sale of the season will be hold to-morrow, December 21st, when fairly large catalogues will be offered. Prices, we are afraid, will be disappointing to growers.

Wc make advances on the coming woolclip at Bank rates, and have faeilities to sell equal to none in Dunedin.
