Messrs Mokitzson AND Hopkin, auctioneers, wool, stock and station, grain, produce, and commission agents, corner Bond and Jetty streets, Dunedin, repor (wholesale) as follows for the week. Barley : Feed at from 2s to2s6d ; milling, 3s to Ss 3d ; malting, 4s to 4s Sd, at which prices we have sold, medium to good, 3s Gil to 3s-9d. We have a good inquiry and shall be pleased to receive samples. flops, with some enquiry, lid to Is. Flour, LP2; oatmeal, Lll 10s. Pearl barley, LIG ; bran, L 3 ; pollard, L 3 15s. Potatoes : Derwents, £2 to £2 5s ; kidneys, £ll to £l2 per ton. Chaff : Prime quality, L 3 7s Gd to 1,3 10s for extra ; medium, L2 17s Cd to 1,3 ss. Pressed hay, £3 ; pressed straw, 27s Cd to 30s.

Ryegrass: Best, machine-dressed 3s to 4s; undressed, 2s to 2s 9cl. in better demand. Cocksfoot: Town machined, s£d ; farmers riddled, 2Ad to 3fd. Eye corn : 3s 3d. Linseed, in good demand, LlO to LlO 10s.

Sale every Monday. We have an experienced man classing all skins, and thus receive top value from buyers. Wool: We have already received several lines of the new season’s clip for our first sale to be held on December 21st. We expect to see brisk competition, especially for all fine wool. FRUIT AND PRODUCE REPORT Butter : Prime salt, dairy made, 6d per lb. Ecus : Can dispose of any quantity at top market rates. Demand good. Cheese : Prime factory, to 4sd net ; .Akaroa, 4d. Bacon : Rolls and flitches, 5d to GJd ; hams, 7d to 7Ad. Onions :*LIS. Pigs: 4d per lb for good quality of right sizes. We make advances on the coining woolclip at Bank rates, and have facilities to sell equal to none in Dunedin.
