Dunedin, 10th March, 1896. Messrs Donald Reid and Co. report that prices ruled as under at their auction sale to-day Oats.—A- full> attendance of .buyers, and under fair competition our catalogue was cleared at prices about on a level with those of last week. No prime milling offered beet, feed and good milling, Is 7Jd to Is 8d ; medium, Is 6a to Is 7d per bushel (sacks extra I.

Wheat.—A moderate quantity was offered but us bidding did not reach vendors’ ideas of value little business was done. We quote prime: velvet, 3s lOd to-3s lid; Tuscan, etc., 3s 8d to 3s 9d ; fowTwheat, 3s 3d to> 3s 7jd per bushel (sicks in). Barley.—Prime malting, 2s lOd to 3s Id ; medium to good, 2s 9d to 2s lOd ; feed and milling, 2s 3d to 2s 6d per bushel (sacks extra). Potatoes. Best Dcrwents, L3toL 37a 6d, Only medium kidneys offered, which sold at 30s to -35s per ton (sacks in).
