WEEKLY MARKET REPORT. Messrs Moritzson and Hopkin, auctioneers, wool, stock and station, grain, produce, and commission agents, corner Bond and Jetty streets, Dunedin, report (wholesale) as follows for the week. All quotations subject to market fluctuations :

Wool; Oar fourth Bale will take place on 28th February. Crown Sheep Dip, 5s 6<l per gallon in 5 gallon drum ; 5a in larger quantities. Wheat; Prime velvet and Tuscan, 4s ; red chaff 3s 8d to 3s lOd. Oats ; Prime milling and bright plump feed Is 9d ; ordinary feed. Is 8d ; off color. Is 6d. The market is easier. Barley: Taken up for milling and feed purposes at from Is 9d to 2s 4d ; malting, if prime, 3s 3d to 3s 6d, with good demand. flops, 7d to 7 Jd. Flour, L 1 0; oatmeal, L 10; pearl barley, Ll2; bran, L 3 10s ; pollard, L 4. Potatoes-: Kidneys, L 3 ; Derwents, L 3. Chaff: Prime quality up to £2 17s 6d ; Pressed hay, £3 to £3 ss; pressed straw, 35s to 40s. Ryegrass: Best machine-dressed 3s 6d to 5s 6d ; undressed, 2s to 2s lOd Cocksfoot; Town machined, 4Jd to 5d ; fanners’ riddled, 3d to 3Jd. Linseed, £8 10a to £9 10s. We receive rabbitskins, hides, sheepakins, and tallow, and return highest market values. Hides wanted from 7s 6d to 12s 6d each, or 2d to 2Jd per lb ; extra heavy, up to 3d. We hold regular weekly sales. Cornaacks, seed sacks, woolpacks, and seaming and binder twine in stock and supplied at lowest rates. FRUIT AND PRODUCK REPORT ’ Butter : Salt, we have sale for all good lots ; prime quality, in good demand at 7d to 7id ; medium, at od to 6d. Eggs : Can dispose of any quantity at top market rates. Cheese : Prime factory, 4d net. [ Onions : Victorian, L 9. Pigs ; 21d to 3d per lb for good quality of right sizes. Fruit : Regular shipments arriving from Tasmania, Sydney, and the Islands.
