YOUNG FARMERS’ CLUB
A meeting of t lie A rro wtown Y.F.C.A. was held in the Council Chambers, Arrowtown, on Wednesday, September 10. Ten members were present. Mr A. Reid presided. The minutes of the previous meeting wore read and confirmed, Mr Reid introduced the speakers of the evening. Mr Rabbidge, president District Committe of Otago; Mr Munro, district secretary of Otago; and Mr Gow, Alexandra. Mr Rabbidge gave a short and interesting account of the Young banners Clubs progress throughout Otago and Southland and the benefits received by ‘A members through debating and land A settlements for young farmers. Mr Munro spoke on national stock judging and the benefits received, winter show bays, and also discussed methods of judging. Mr Gow discussed trial photos, and the Young Farmers’ Club dog trials to be held at Tarras, Mr Scott thanked all speakers for their very interesting talks, Mr Rabbidge suitably replied. A vote of thanks to the chair ter--1 minated the meeting.
