Bran : Sales are steady, with a tendency to lower rates pending; £6 5s ex store is readily obtaiued. Pollard: Firmer tone, and sales are steady at £5 7s 6d with a slight increase possibly very shortly. Chaff: Owing to new season's chaff offering freely from Mailborough quotations for old chaff have fallen in sympathy. Old chaff: Southern has been selling at £6 10s to £6 15s. With the splendid crops harvested locally, the market is likely to be well supplied aDd prices will cease in consequence. Butter : Supplies have beeo coming forward very freely since Christmas, but owing to the warmth, the quality has suffeied considerably. The market is slightly easier. Choice has averaged lOfd ; first-grade September 10-]dto JOid ; second-grade September 9|d to 10£ d. Poor qualities have been readily sold at 9£d for milling purposes, Cheese : Owing to high pricee ruling in England, heavy shipments have been made, and local supplies have been depleted, and piices have firmed. Fungus: Owing to the holidays, supplies have been coming forward very slowly, and prices have firmed slightly, good quality fungus realising 4£d to 4Jd for prime sundries.
