Kawhia County Ridings

ALTERATION OF BOUNDARIES At a Fp'Oial meeting of tbe Kawhia County Council held on 8 b inst. tbe matter of tbe re adjustment of riding boundaries was considered and a special order passed making tbe following alterations. Kawhia Riding will extend to Oparau Ferry, and also take in tbe portion of tbe Moerangi fronting the Aotea Harbour. Oparan R'dir.g will include the Opa ran Township. Te Kauri Riding will gain certain properties on tbe Pirongia West R tad near Te Rau-a-moa. Awaroa Riding will include the properties on the north side of tbe Kaimango Road. Waiharakt-ko and Tiiharos Ridings remain as at present. Tbe area which formerly formed part of the Awakino County will ba called tbe Marokopa Riding. Each riding will be represented by one Councillor.
