"With many reports still to come in, a total of £IBO,OOO has now been given or promised towards the £300,000 fund established by the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand as a thanks-offering . for the completion next February of the first one hundred years of its existence," states the Outlook. "The Bay of Plenty Presbyteries from which £4OOO was asked, is the first of the presbyteries to exceed its allocation, it having now contributed £4741. Other presbyteries which have made good »progress towards their totals are Auckland, with an allocation of £29,000 and promises of £24,306; Wellington, allocation £27,500 and promises £22,273; Southland, allocation £24,700 and promises £19,728; and Waikato, allocation £IB,OOO and promises £12,247."
