W.D.F.U.
TE KUITI BRANCH MEETS. The usual fortnightly meeting of the Te Kuiti branch of the W.D.F.U. was held in the Friendly Societies' Hall on Friday last, when Oparure ladies were hostesses for the day. The branch accepted with regret the resignation of one of its oldest members, Mrs. W. Findlay, of Oparure. Mrs. Findlay had always been a most enthusiastic worker for the Division, and her departure from the district would be deeply regretted by her fellow members and friends.
Mrs. Reinhardt (president), and Mrs. Lee, the two delegates to the Dominion Conference, gave very interesting reports.
Arrangements were discussed for the forthcoming birthday of the branch. This brought a very enjoyable afternoon to a close.
