Miss Ivy Graham is spending a holiday in Hamilton.

Mrs. H. L. Hughes is spending a holiday in Raglan.

Mr. J. Harris left last night to spend a week-end in Wellington and Palmerston North.

Mr. and Mrs. P. Hughes have returned from a holiday spent in Auckland.

Mr. J. N. Tolley, of the Post Office staff, is at present spending a holiday in Wellington.

Mr. R. A. Carolan, of the Railway Department, is spending a holiday in the South Island.

Mr. C. S. Crump, of the postal staff, has left on transfer to'Pukekohe.

Mr. J. F. Boroughs, overseer of the P. and T. Department, Gisborne, has replaced Mr. J. W. Simpson, who has been transferred on promotion to Christchurch.

Miss Nan Lennox, of Auckland, will be the guest of Mrs. W. J. Broadfoot, of Awakino Road, for the week-end.

Miss Merin Broadfoot, who is now dental nurse at the Te Awamutu school, is spending the week-end with her mother, Mrs. W. J. Broadfoot.

At an impressive service held in St. Andrew's Church on Sunday morning, Messrs. J. Martin and W. Kepple were ordained and inducted as elders of the congregation.

Mr and Mrs. W. Ballantine, of the Kelvin Hotel, left on Wednesday to take over the Wentworth Hotel, Auckland. The Kelvin Hotel will in future be under the management of Mr. and Mrs. C. Pollock.

Advice was received last evening by Mrs. C. J. Muller, of Te Kuiti, of the sudden death of her brother, Rev. T. P. Willason, of Adelaide. Rev. Willason will be remembered by many residents whom he met during his visits to this town.

Friends of Mr. A. Corlett, who has been an inmate of the Waikato Hospital for the past three weeks as a result of injuries received when he was involved in an accident near Te Kawa, will be pleased to learn-that he is now making excellent progress.
