DISPERSAL SALE

VERY KEEN COMPETITION. Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held a dispersal sale of Mr. M. J. Blanchfield's herd at Manga - pehi on Wednesday. The cows came forward in excellent condition and sold under keen competition to an attendance, of local buyers. The complete herd of 34 cows averaged £7 17s 6d, and excluding unsound cov/s, £8 15s. The cows were of excellent condition, the top cows selling from £lO to £l2, whilst £l2 15s was paid for an excellent cow in full milk entered by Mr. Jas. Georgetti, this vendor also receiving £9 15s for a pair of nice heifers.
