WAIRERE ELECTRIC POWER.

(To the Editor)

Sir,—"Candlelight" has again rushed into print with a jumble of false assertions in the hope that he would find some foundation to build on. Should I care to take the time and trouble I could again dis-prove the few fresh mis-statements in his second letter. In my previous letter I endeavoured to enlighten him on my Board's policy but am afraid that "Candlelight" is not capable of understanding plain facts, so the carrying on of this correspondence would be of little use to him and of no benefit to anyone else. As far as I am concerned, this subject per medium of your columns is closed, but my invitation to him or anyone else genuinely interested to inspect the improvements at the powerhouse remains open.

In conclusion, I again say that if "Candlelight" is ashamed of his name I certainly am not of mine, and again subscribe it to this letter.— l am, etc., R. BODDY.
