ARAPAE NOTES
Recently Mr. and Mrs. Mac Fellingham entertained relatives and friends in the Arapae Hall. A very pleasant evening was spent dancing to music supplied by Mr. Hose at the piano, and Mr. F. Le Vaillant on the violin. A statue log cabin was won by Miss E. Dempsey and Mr. Roy Waite, and a Monte Carlo waltz by Mrs. Fellingham, senr., and Mr. H. Brandle. A very dainty supper was provided and balloon and streamer dances caused much amusement. The evening was brought to a close by all joining in singing “For They Are Jolly Good Fellows” and “Auld Lang Syne.”
Mr. F. Redward has returned from Waitara, where he has been on holiday. Mr. and Mrs. Les. Hunt, Patea, have been on a short stay with Mrs. E. W. Stead.
Mrs. F. Redward and small daughters are holidaying in Auckland. Miss G. M. Allison, “Danebank,” who last week was the guest of Mrs. F. W. Dawson, New Plymouth, has left for Wellington, en route for a holiday in the South Island.
