At her wits end to know where to accommodate the nurses at the Rotorua Hospital, the matron is faced with the possibility of having to use the rooms 24 hours a day, with the nurses sleeping in relays. This statement was made by Mr. J. Banks at the meeting of the Waikato Hospital Board yesterday when commenting on the seriousness of the cramped accommodation at the hospital. Previously the board had decided to lease for hospital purposes a portion of the Pukeroa Reserve as suggested by the Department of Health.
