Mr. F. Potts, of Te Rua-a-moa, who was chairman of the Otorohanga County Council for over 12 years, has sold his farm to Mr. R. G. Stock, of Pokuru, Te Awamutu.
The 21st birthday of Miss Jean Findlay was celebrated last Saturday night by a party in the Oparure Hall attended by over a hundred people, when a most happy time was spent. . The toast to the guest of the evening was proposed by Mr. J. N. Boddie, who spoke in appreciative terms of the qualities of Miss Findlay and her parents. Mr. Findlay replied on behalf of himself and his daughter.
