The Syrian Parliament, the last vestige of united and independent Syria, vanished when France took over full control fo the Levantine State after endeavouring for five months to reconcile the Nationalist party to the principle of partial independence. It is reported from Teschen, says a Warsaw message, that German troop reinforcements have arrived at the former Czech-Polish frontier. Barbed wire entanglements are being erected.
