ROVER NOTES
(By Campfire.) The Rovers spent a very busy week in their stall at the Te Kuiti Winter Show. Mr. C. Dallaston, Rover leader, left by the express on Saturday night for Wellington, thence to Blenheim. He shared a sleeping department on the train with a well-known wrestler. We wonder whether he will be throwing a few elbow jolts round when he comes back. Although the Rovers have had very little spare time this week, they still found time to visit the Rover Mate on Sunday night and use his toaster to the best advantage. Things we would like to know:— Why did Rover Wooten suddenly leave the Show buildings? Will Rover Davidson ever stop throwing himself over the riverbanks? Where did Rover Bougen spend his week-end? What caused Sandie’s sudden stop coming down the hill?
