Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Waldegrave, of Pio Pio, announce the engagement of their eldest daughter, Frances Mary, to Richard Sidney, second son of and the late Mr. S. R. Craig.
Mr. H. Reardon, of the Railway Department, has received notice of transfer to Woodville. Mr. and Mrs. Reardon will leave Te Kuiti on Wednesday.
The marriage was solemnised at the Methodist Church, Otorohanga,.on the morning of the 24th inst., between Alwyn Alison, elder daughter of Mr. and the late Mrs. E. F. Fairbrother, of Otorohanga, and Cyril Gordon, third son of Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Austin, of Okaihau, Northland.
