FEED FLAVOUR.

Until the end of April feed flavour throughout the season at Ruakurahas ranged from 0 to 3 points. In the report presented by Mr. P. W. Smallfield, acting officer in charge of the Animal Research Station, Ruakura, to the Ruakura Farm Advisory Committee, it is pointed out that there has been very little variation and no useful information has been obtained with the exception of the experiment, which successfully reduced feed flavour by holding the cows in a bare yard for three hours before the afternoon milking.
