WAITOMO COUNTY COUNCIL. NOTICE OF INTENTION TO LEVY GENERAL AND HOSPITAL RATES. ■NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with Sections 120 and 121 of the Counties’ Act, 1920, and Sections 50 to 58 of the Rating Act, 1925; the Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1926; and any amendments to such Acts, it is the intention of the Waitomo County Council at its next meeting' to be held in the Council Chambers, Te Kuiti, on Friday, the 14th day of July, 1939, at 10.30 a.m., to make and levy on the rateable value, being the unimproved value of all rateable property in the several ridings, the following General Rates:— Aria Riding.—A rate of 41 pence in the £. Awakino Riding.—A rate of 33 pence in the £. Hangatiki Riding.—A rate of 5 pence in the £. Mahoenui Riding.—A rate of 33 pence in the £. Mairoa Riding.—A rate of 51 pence in the £. Paemako Riding.—A rate of 4 pence in the £. Tangitu Riding.—A rate of 5 pence in the £. Te Kuiti Riding.—A rate of 41 pence in the £. These General Rates cover costs of works and administration; also Interest on whole County and whole Riding Loans. Also a Hospital Rate of lg pence in the £ in each of the said Ridings. The foregoing Rates are for the period commencing on the Ist day of April, 1939, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1940, and are to be due and payable in one sum on the 7th September, 1939.
