LADIES’ SECTION. The following is the draw for Saturday’s play. The first round of Mrs. Broadfoot’s trophy, in conjunction with an L.G.U.: — Mrs. Were v. Mrs. Isaac; Mrs. Hotson v. Mrs. Mullins; Mrs. Preschott v. Mrs. O’Connell; Mrs. Trapski v. Miss Craig-; Mrs. Thornton v. Miss Calver; Mrs. Symonds v. Mrs. Marwood; Mrs. Mostyn Jones v. Mrs. Dick; Mrs. Gould v. The one club competition held last week-end was won by Miss M. Hotson, who returned a nett score of 75. The following are the results of the first round of the Foursomes: — Mesdames Thornton and Kennedy defeated Misses Silcock and Burgess, 7 and 6; Miss Podevin and M. Hotson defeated Misses Bishop and Craig, 5 and 4; Mrs. Chadwick and Miss Walker defeated Mesdames Hotson and Prescott 1 up; Mesdames Were and Wilson defeated Mesdames M. Jones and Barker, 4 and 3. Members are again reminded that the first round of the Harrison and Empress Cups must be completed by June 25th.
