PIO PIO DAIRY CO.
o EXCEPTIONALLY HIGH GRADING. SUBSTANTIAL BONUS LIKELY. The Pio Pio Co-operative Dairy Co., Ltd., has had a very successful season, although the output is not as high as usual. This can be accounted for by the fact that several suppliers at the beginning of the season turned over to sheep. The butter grading through the grade stores in Auckland has this season been exceptionally high, over 70 per cent, of the total butter manufactured receiving the Government premium of 7d per box. Only butter grading 94 points and over receives this premium.
As the annual balance does not take place until May 31, the books are not as yet finalised. However, at the present time it can be seen that a substantial bonus will be paid.
