MARAKOPA DAIRY CO.

SHAREHOLDERS' FINAL MEETING .PAYMENT OF 12/- A SHARE. LIQUIDATORS CONGRATULATED. The final meeting of the shareholders of the Marakopa Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited, in voluntary liquidation, was held at Te Anga Hall on Monday, to receive the report of the liquidators, Messrs. P. C. Rose and J. G. Irvine.

Mr. Rose read the report of the final business of the realisation of assets and the clearing up of the share register, and said he was glad to be able to have realised a payment of a little over 12s per share, as well as paying a farthing bonus to shareholders on last year's supply. In moving the adoption of the report on behalf of shareholders, Mr. R. Miln congratulated the liquidators on the amount they had managed to realise for the shareholders, which was undoubtedly unusually high for the clearing up of a dairy factory business. He also praised t he liquidators for the expedition in clearing up the share register, under ten months for a company with a large list of shareholders scattered far and wide. Undoubtedly Mr. Rose's long experience especially with native shareholders, had been invaluable in the work. The motion was seconded by Mr. S. Curtiss and carried. This concluded the business of the company. Various telegrams were received by Messrs. P. C. Rose and J. G. Irvine, congratulating them on the speed and results of their work.
