SERIOUS CHARGE
MAN COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE After he had pleaded guilty to a charge of indecent assault on a young girl, a middle-aged man, Thomas George Ward, labourer, was yesterday morning committed to the Supreme Court at Hamilton for sentence. The offence was stated to have occurred on October 24. Evidence was taken before the Justices' Court at Te Kuiti yesterday morning before Messrs. W. J. Hoffman and J. Tammadge, J.P.'s.
