At the Magistrate’s Court, Auckland, A. S. Richards, member of Parliament for Roskill, was charged with driving without having a driver’s license. A parliamentary colleague, Mr. F. W. Schramm, appearing for him, explained that defendant had just neglected to take out a new license. A fine of 10s, with costs, was imposed.
