RABBITSKIN SALE

Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Dunedin, report as follows on their rabbitskin sale held on 4th February:—There was a small offering' of trappers’ skins, but included in our catalogue were 20 bales of good factory skins. The demand was again very keen from buyers on U.S.A. account, and prices for runners and racks showed a further advance of from 2d to 6d per lb. All other grades were firm on last sale’s rates.

The following are the prices realised:—Winter bucks 85£d per lb spring bucks 60d; outgoing does 61id; spring does 40d; racks 50d; summers 32Jd; milky 323 d; summer broken 3ld; winter broken 37id; funners 403 d; small 25id; summer blacks 24id; winter blacks 50|d; fawns 33id; hareskins 23id; horse hair 18d.

The next sale will be held on Thursday, March 4th.
