Public Notices. WAIRERE ELECTRIC POWER BOARD. ELECTRICITY LOAN No. 3, 1936, £17,000. NOTICE OF INTENTION TO MAKE SPECIAL RATE. IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with the Rating Act, 1926, the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, the Electric Power Boards Act, 1925, the Finance Act, 1936 (No. 2), and all other Acts empowering, it is the intention of the Wairere Electric Power Board at a Special Meeting to be held in the Board’s Offices, Pio Pio, on Saturday, 27th February, 1937, at 8 p.m., to make and levy a Special Rate of Three Farthings (Id.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Wairere Electric Power Board District, and that such Special Rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such Loan and be payable yearly on the First Day of September in each and every year during the currency of such Loan, being a period not exceeding Twentyfive (25) years or until the Loan is fully paid off, at the Board’s Offices at Pio Pio to Stanley James Aston, the Board’s Collector, or to such person as may from time to time be appointed to collect the same.
