PUBLIC WORKS MINISTER
— TO VISIT OHURA. The following telegram was read at Wednesday’s meeting of the Ohura County Council from the Hon. F. Langstone, M.P. for Waimarino: — “With reference to your letter of 22nd Ult., the Hon. Mr.'Semple now informs me that he will probably be able to accompany me on a visit to my electorate some time in March. Please advise me in due course what matters your Council wishes him to attend to.” No word had been received at the Wairere Power Board yesterday of any definite date that the Minister of Public Works, in reply to invitations by local bodies, would visit the Waitomo County.
