TWO MEN KILLED. ANOTHER COUPLE INJURED. Tragedy overtook a party of labourers bound from Te Kawa to Auckland shortly before 11 o'clock on Saturday evening, when, as the result of their car capsizing, two were killed and two others injured. The pai-ty was travelling in torrential rain along the Great South Road when, about a mile north of Ohinewai, a tyre blew out and the car oveturned. The victims were:—

Injured.—Keith Robert Bremner, a widower, aged 32, lorry driver, of Drury; severe concussion, bruises, abrasions and shock; condition fairly serious; Hugh Prince, aged 50, quarry worker, widower, of Te Kawa; injui’ies to an arm and severe shock; condition not serious.

The party was being driven to Auckland by Mr. Bremner in a threeseater light roadster with the intention of visiting Mr. Moxsom’s relatives. The vehicle lurched out of control and skidded before turning round, travelling 150 feet and capsizing into a depression 4ft. deep alongside the road.
