PETITION BEFORE KING. RIGHTS OF MARRIED WOMEN. (Press Association. —Copyright.) (Received 11.20 a.m.) London, June 17.
A Women's Freedom League's petition, containing three thousand signatures of women of Great Britain, the Dominions, the Bermudas and Ceylon, will be presented to the King through the Home Office praying His Majesty to ask the respective Governments to adopt uniform legislation giving married women indepenaent nationality in their own persons, similar to men and single women.
