EXCESSIVE YAWNING

NINETY DAYS RECORD Mrs P. E. Wakelin, of Victoria, British Columbia, who has yawned ten times a minute for the last 90 days, is still yawning, but not so often. For the first time her doctors report an improvement in her condition. Recently Mrs Wakelin has had yawn mail of about 40 letters a day from people advising her how to cure herself. The hints have included: Sleeping in a wet sheet; pinching tips of the fingers; eating onions; drinking brine.

The doctors have rejected all these remedies and confined their treatment to nerve tonics.
