ATTENDANCE A RECORD. The sixteenth annual meeting of the Otorohanga Sports Club took place, on Monday on the Island Reserve under brilliant weather conditions. There was an estimated attendance of 14,000 and a gate takings of £6so—both constituting absolute records for any professional meeting in the Dominion. Mr. W. J. Broadfoot, M.P., was present, and congratulated the Club on the New Zealand Cycling Derby, which he thought to be the finest race in New Zealand. Several minor accidents to cyclists occurred during the day, but nothing of a serious nature. Results are as follows: — Running Events. Schoolboys' Race of 75 yards, under 16: C. Thomson 1, B.
