DOUBLE DROWNING
boat found on beach. (Bv Telegraph.—Press Association.) Wanganui, this day. John Wharemate, aged 42, married with three children, and a halfcaste named Williams, married, with eight children, both residents o± Castlecliff, are supposed to have been victims of a drowning tragedy, as both went in a flat-bottomed boat to row from Putiki to Castlecliff. The boat has been found upside down and there is no trace of the occupants.
