PAN PACIFIC AIR SERVICE TO AUCKLAND. BASE EQUIPMENT COMING. It was reported in Wellington yesterday that a ship is to leave the Pacific Coast of the United States of America this week carrying equipment for the Auckland base of PanAmerican Airways. It is understood that the first flying boat for the San FranciscoAuckland service has been taken over and tested by Pan-American Airways. Probably the first run from the United States to New Zealand will be made in July.
