INVITATION EXTENDED

TO MINISTER OF PUBLIC WORKS. VISIT TO KING COUNTRY. Mr. W. J. Broadfoot, M.P., has received the following letter from the Minister of Public Works, the Hon. R. Semple:— “I have your letter of 17th January and thank you for your invitation to me to visit your electorate before the session commences. Just whether or not this will be possible I am not able to state at the present moment, but I will be pleased to keep your invitation in mind. Your district is one part of New Zealand which I specially desire to visit, and I shall certainly work in a trip through there at the earliest opportunity. The pressure on my time at present, however, is very heavy, and it is not possible for me to be away from Wellington any more than is unavoidable. However, I shall keep the matter in mind and will let you know further later.”
