"Your job is to worry the men," Miss M. Graham (Wellington) told women delegates at the Douglas Social Credit convention in Palmerston North, when emphasising the part that women could play in stimulating activities (reports the Manawatu Evening Standard). She said that wives could tell their husbands to look at the circumstances of their children, and ask them what they were going to do about it. She added that the money system badly required a spring-cleaning.
