CAESAR JOURNALIST
The Italian Fascist Journalists have been celebrating Julius Caesar, not as a general but as a journalist. They have chosen the conqueror of Gaul as their patron because he created in 0 59 B.C. the Acta Diurna, the first organ of public information which ever existed in ancient Rome. This entitles Julius Caesar to be considered as the first in •point of time of the journalists of antiquity.
