The fact that it was on the Wellington Land Board that he had served for 25 years as a member, not the Waitomo County Council, as was mentioned in several other newspapers, was a point made by Mi'. J. Georgetti in discussing his candidature of the Waimarino electoral seat in Te Kuiti yesterday. Mr. Georgetti pointed out that he had been a member of the Waitomo County Council for only six years, though his connection with local bodies' affairs extended to 37 years ago, when he was elected a member of the Rangitikei County Council.
