Mr. A. W. Cheal was a visitor to Te Kuiti yesterday.
Mr: J. Craig, King Country representative football player, left for the South Island last evening.
The engagement is announced between Juanita Edna, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Leopard, of Petone, and William Jerrold, younger son of Mrs. A. Barr, of Te Kuiti.
Mr. R. J. Pullenger, the missionary from Bolivia who will be giving a lantern lecture in the Municipal Hall this evening-, has an interesting story to tell, having laboured in that land for the past eight years.
A Press Association message from London states that the Duke of Gloucester and his bride will spend their first married year at Camberly, where the Duke has been appointed to the staff of the College, which he will enter in January.
