26-MILE RACE. The Te Kuiti Cycle Club's weekly road race, held last Saturday over a distance of 26 miles, resulted as follows: — J. Ormsby (10y 2 m.) 1 G. Irvine (3m.) .... .... ... .. 2 A. Paterson (2m.) 3<» Fastest time was secured by G. Irvine, who rode the distance in 77m. 55secs. B. Rothery was in the leading position when he had the misfortune to fall and break his collarbone. The riders are looking forward to the sealed handicap next week.
