WOOL POSITION

GERMANS BUYING. THE LONDON SALES. (Press Association.) London, Uctober 4. 11. Dawson and Sons, Ltd., in commenting on the wool outlook, say that it was a surprising feature of the London wool sales that several German houses shared in the buying. The only explanation of this seems to be that Germany's need of wool is so apparent that it encourages speculative operators, because the early possibility of the door being more widely opened has imparted a new tone to the market during the past ten days. It also indicates that regained confidence in the industry can be justifiably encouraged by the prospects for the coming season. In fact there is an ample supply available, values are low, and money is cheap. RANGE OF PRICES. Messrs.
