De Mavi land's have offered to build another Comet plane, at a cost of £SOOO, for Sir Kingsford Smith and deliver it simultaneously with those previously ordered by the other competitors.' The offer is made solely to enable Sir Kingsford Smith to enter the Melbourne Centenary Race on level terms with Scott and Mollison.
