SATURDAY’S GAMES. Saturday’s games resulted as follows: — Rink I.—Wilson, Abbott, McLeod, Frost (s) 21, v. O’Hagan, Haines, Tapp, Jacob (s) 19. Rink 2. —Haw, Kinross, Andrew, Innes (s) 18, v. Griffiths, Thomas, O’Connell, Lusk (s) 18. Rink 3. —Joseph, Read, Jones, Dinsdale (s) 19, v. Henneker, Aymes, Reid, Gilbert (s) 18. The senior championship is to be decided under the “two-life” system, which, in effect, means that when a member has been defeated twice he is right out of it. The first round of the championship must be completed by the 26th instant. So far, six games have been played, with the following results: Lusk beat Thomas, Haines beat Jones, McLeod beat Frost, W. Read beat Jacob, R. Reid beat Abbott, O’Connell beat Tapp. Keen interest has been maintained in the pairs competition for the Lee gold buttons. During the week-end Abbott and Gilbert (s) were successful iii winning the buttons from Kinross and Jacob (s).
