It is not often that stories of lost race tickets on big dividends end happily, but for one West Coast resident at the Grand National meeting the exception was met with (says the Grey Star). Together with a friend he had two tickets on a fairsized dividend, but after the excitement of a close finish it was found, to their consternation, that the tickets had been lost. After an Unsuccessful hunt through their pockets the unfortunate two decided to retrace their steps in search of the tickets, and found them, but their fortune was to extend still further, for they also found another ticket on the successful horse.
