STRANDED STEAMER
ARRIVAL AT THURSDAY ISLAND.
NO SERIOUS DAMAGE.
(Press Association. —Copyright.) (Received 10.10 a.m.) Brisbane, this day,
The steamer Dalcroy, which went ashore during the recent heavy weather, arrived at Black Rock anchorage on Thursday Island. The strong tides prevented an examination of the keel, but no difficulty was experienced in keeping down the water in the fore part of the ship, and it is probable that the Dalcroy will proceed to Sydney for repairs.
