BULL DERAILS TRAIN.

ANOTHER GETS INTO SHOP. A bull which strayed from a field on to the line caused the partial derailment of a London and North-East-ern Railway train at Seaham Harbour (England.) The two rear wheels of the locomotive a'nd the front bogie of the first coach left the rails, and when the train came to a standstill the bull was found beneath the wheels of the second carriage. The permanent way was extensively damaged, and the passengers, all of whom escaped injury, had to be taken to their destinations in a bus. A bull which broke loose in a crowded thoroughfare at Lowesstoft (England), scattering people right and left, ran into the open door of a house and kicked about and smashed furniture. Driven out after a struggle, it rushed to Oulton Broad, about two miles away, and got into a newsagent’s shop, where it became wedged between the counter and the door. Part of the counter had to be sawn away to release it. The bull then made another dash for freedom, bul was soon afterward captured.
